Statistic of the Week

This week’s statistic from Upwork shows that Companies are using freelancers over staffing firms because: 

• They feel they get projects done sooner. 

• They feel they are reducing costs.

Nearly ½ of the companies interviewed felt like they increased transparency and have access to skills their company didn’t have available before.

Winton mentioned that his friends who are hiring for large Companies notice freelancers have a higher level of enthusiasm for projects they are awarded than those from staffing firms

3. nearly 5 stars is a good review score and the reviews show that the client awards stars, which is what you’re after

4. China, don’t be afraid to work in foreign countries

5. “seeking residency in the USA”, means make sure you are transparent with your location. This job is shipping to the US, so if you’re American, but living in a different country, skip this one!
