A few questions to ask yourself:

Do I have relevant experience?
Not “Could I probably figure this out?” but “Can I honestly show this buyer that I understand their world?”

Does this job fit my profile?
If your profile says you help with business strategy, but the job is basic proofreading, the buyer may not see an obvious match.

Can I speak the buyer’s language?
The words they use in the job description often tell you what matters most to them. Your proposal should reflect that.

Can I communicate my relevance quickly?
Buyers don’t want a long essay. They want to know, quickly, whether you understand the problem and can help.
