Statistic of the Week

Winton and Heidi both agreed that the most important part of this stat of the week was the title: More than half of U.S. freelancers think that having multiple clients increases their job security.

63% of freelance workers agree that having a wide and diverse portfolio of clients is more secure than having only one client and serving on average, 4.5 clients each month. 

The “long game” of successful Freelancing is to have 4-5 clients that rotate in your stable of clients as they need more or less from you at any given time.

It’s about choosing the clients who you like to work with and whose work you enjoy doing. 

It takes some trial/error and volume of jobs to do before you find those, but several is better than just one “good” client

Canva

Even if you’re not particularly ‘creative’, Canva is fun, simple and easy to use.

If you need to modify images, add text or graphics, Canva is a great tool.
