  • The value of client feedback

You don’t want to miss it – finding one or two good clients can make your freelancing life feel like smooth sailing!

Now, here’s the round up from the Barefoot Consultants world!

See you next week,

Winton

What's inside this week...

David Ellis

David, who filled in for Winton this week as the presenter on the Tuesday Night Freelancing call, has a passion for helping baby boomers use the skills and knowledge they already have to develop a portable income and give them the freedom to live life to the fullest.

He provided simple strategies and extensive insights on how to use Upwork Search efficiently to find the best jobs, regardless of your freelancing experience.

Great work, David, standing in for Winton this week! Everyone got great takeaways from your call!

Statistic of the Week

It may not surprise you that freelancers, especially those with specialized skills working remotely, generally report higher job satisfaction than non-freelancers.

They are more content with their overall job experience, day-to-day tasks, and work-life balance, which suggests that freelancing offers a more fulfilling work environment for many people.

Productivity Tool(s) of the Week

Todoist

Todoist is a simple to-do list app, that make it frictionless to get all your tasks out of your head and organized in one trusted place.

  • Make a to-do list that feels like a natural extension of your mind.

  • Capture and organize tasks the moment they come to you with easy-flowing, natural language.

  • Infinitely flexible views show you just the tasks that are relevant right now. Leave the rest for later.

Since there are always so many different apps and products that may seem similar, this week we want to mention that Trustpilot reviews are a great place to see if the app you’re looking at purchasing has been effective for those who’ve used it.

A 4-5 star rating is good and shows the pluses and minuses that have been experienced and noted.

NOTE: It’s important to “read into” the bad reviews. Are the complaints reasonable or not? Is the issue one that reflects poorly on the company or product, or is it the consumer? Ultimately, you decide!

Want to make more money in less time and with less stress?
